Ainsley went to see Santa yesterday. This is the second Santa she's visited this year. The first Santa gave her a can of soda. I found out yesterday that her only motive for visiting a second Santa was her expectation of another can of soda. Santa's elf offered her a candy cane, which most elves do. Ainsley does not like candy canes. She politely told the elf "no thank you" and then turned to me and said, "Where is my soda?"
This second Santa did offer a perk that the Soda Santa did not...a live reindeer. Ainsley was pretty impressed by this and decided to let go of the fact that there would be no soda offered to her.
